Hello,
How can I know if my business credit cards are personally guaranteed? I don’t have copies of the original applications and I don’t want to call the cards to ask (because it may impact me negatively). Is there something in the Terms & Conditions of the cards that I should look for?

I have good credit & I trust NO ONE with my personal information. My g/f on the other hand is rather stupid. She’ll give out anything to anyone. I tried to help her cerdit out by putting her on one of my cards; the one with the lower limit. Now she gets these unsolicited cards & they bill her for them even if she dont use them. Then when you call to cancel they keep u on hold till you hang up. Is there a way out of this for her?

My credit is around 570. I would like to increase it, but I was wondering what the cut off between "bad" & "not so bad, sorta fair" credit was, as I am planning on applying for a card to increase my score RESPONSIBLY. After paying off all of my debt ( which made me feel GREAT!!!), I need to rebuild my credit.
Suggestions?

I am currently a college student with 2 checking accounts (Wamu- 3 years & BOA- 1 year) and 1 credit card (Citi- 1 year). I have always met the requirements for my checking accounts and paid all my credit card bills on time. As for loans, I do have about ,000 of student loans in debt. I was wondering if it is okay for me to get another credit card. Also, many say that having a lot of credit cards are bad for you. What is the reccomendation of how many bank accounts and credit cards should I have so that my credits would not go down? Thanks in advance!

I was just wondering what is the difference between Chapter 7, 10 & 13 bankruptcies. How did the new law that Bush passed now affect bankruptcies (or does it at all)? I’ve heard everything that you can’t file for Chapter 13 bankruptcy anymore to you have to take financial planning classes thereafter. Also, is it advisable at all? I know normally people say make it your last resort, but I am beyond in debt and do not have any other resolutions. Any horror stories after filing? Any positive stories? Please enlighten me.
thanks!
